Dearest friends,
As is my annual tradition, I wrote a short story every day in May and have started submitting them to magazines and anthologies. I’ll keep you posted on new publications.
My daughter has returned to France for yet another internship and I plan to visit her, as well as some Swiss friends I met last year in Naples, Italy, in the next few weeks. The photo above is from the Pompeii Archaeological Park. If you are ever in Naples, it’s worth visiting!
In other news, you may not be aware that I am the publisher at Beaches and Trails Publishing. In the last 6 years, we’ve published a LOT of books, some exclusive to Amazon, most available across retailers, and many available for direct purchase on our Shopify store. We’ve also published four multi-author anthologies, and I’m quite proud of those!
We’ve been working with computer science interns to update the Beaches and Trails Publishing website to include all our books and links as well as a search function. It’s a lot more complicated than it looks and we’ve hit a few snags along the way. Interns are still learning, after all!
To that end, we’ll be closing our Shopify store at the end of July, even if the new site isn’t quite ready yet.
So if you’ve never shopped our Shopify store, now’s the time! Check out the Bundles and Special Editions as those are exclusive to the store and won’t be available for a while once the store closes.
